What is Whimsy & Wonder?
Whimsy & Wonder is a FREE, family-friendly interactive art and music festival in downtown
Liberty Hill. Visitors can interact with artists, musicians and street performers, while being
dazzled with magical opportunities to create, enjoy and be entertained.

When and where is the festival?
When: May 18, 2019, 6-9pm
Where: Downtown Liberty Hill (Loop 332 between RR 1869 and CR 279)

Is there a cost to attend?
Festival admission, parking, and gallery viewings are free. Food samples, wine tastings, and all
children’s activities are also free while supplies last. Food from food trucks and a wide variety of
unique art items will be available for purchase.

Can I bring my children?
Absolutely! There will be a dedicated children’s area called the Imagination Garden. Kids can
create and explore at different stations. Music and theatrical shows will take place every 30
minutes. Parents are asked to stay with their children at all times. The sun will go down during
the festival, and the perimeter of the Imagination Garden is open on all sides.

Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome to the street festival; however, we ask that no pets
enter the art galleries or businesses along Main Street. Please come prepared to clean up after your pets.

How do I get to Whimsy & Wonder?
Liberty Hill is a short drive from Austin. Travel north on US Hwy 183 to SH 29 W OR travel north
on IH35 to Georgetown and exit SH 29 W. Once in Liberty Hill, turn left on Loop 332 off of SH
29.

Where do I park?
There are two dedicated parking lots: Liberty Hill Elementary School (1400 Loop 332) and
Fellowship Church (3600 RR 1869). Visitors may also park on downtown streets. Please be
respectful of residential areas. Permits are required to park at the Liberty Hill Annex (3407 RR
1869) and the white chapel (811 Loop 332). Six pedicabs will be downtown transporting
pedestrians for no charge. Catch one if you can!

Where can I find a restroom?
Portable restrooms can be found in the Imagination Garden, near the Liberty Hill Annex, and at
Quick Service Garage.

What do I do when I get to Whimsy & Wonder?
The first stop is the check-in table, where visitors 21 and older with valid IDs will receive their
souvenir wine tasting cups. The next stop is the Orchard Ridge sponsor table where you will
receive your Gallery Passport. Visit the different art galleries, and stroll the street to shop from
vendors, sample food, taste wine, enjoy art, watch live demos, listen to live music and be
dazzled by street performers. Be sure to explore the Children’s Imagination Garden at the end
of the street. Get your Gallery Passport stamped at all six galleries to win raffle prizes. Turn your
passport in to the Orchard Ridge sponsor table at the end of the night to be eligible for prizes.

How do I submit my art to be shown in a gallery?
Follow directions for the Call for Art. Submissions
will not be accepted after March 1st.

How do I become a vendor?
Vendors can participate by invitation only and are limited to unique and high-quality handcrafted
artisans. Vendor selections will be finalized March 1st.

How do I become an event sponsor?
Sponsorships are not available at this time. Email katie@lhindependent.com to learn about
sponsorship for different events throughout the year.
